  • A business card-cum-brochure, designed for Universal Leonardo. The organisation, which is funded by the Council of Europe, works with many of the world’s leading museums with the aim of exploring the art and science of Leonardo da Vinci in new ways. We were asked to help define a communication strategy and develop a visual identity system that could manage the presentation of the organisation, and structure its complex partnership and sponsorship relationships.

The focus of the identity is a colour swatch – a visual abstraction of Leonardo’s ‘invention’ of atmospheric perspective that suggests both the scientific and artistic aspects of the organisation’s work. The miniature brochure (which is no larger than a regular business card) is a succinct and highly-original vehicle for conveying Universal Leonardo’s innovative ideas to potential partners and sponsors at the critical impression-forming stage of a relationship.
